Well I've been super busy getting shit cracking for this summer and it all seems to be coming together. California Soul, Session 1 did really well at Isla, I want to thank all those that came out! We'll be back with Session 2 next month, the date isn't for sure but it looks like it will be the 15th and September's California Soul, Session 3 "The rise of the Funky Child" is set for the 12th. I'll be posting pictures from session 1 soon thanks to the amazing photography of Raman Gulati!
Big things coming up in the month of August, not only will we have the second installment of CA Soul but I will be spinning at the Foundation Room at The House of Blues on the Sunset Strip on August 13 for The Welcome to Rukus Avenue Concert Afterparty.

Now for the music, I have started to use the website soundcloud.com and uploaded tons of mixes and they provide a widget so now you can stream the mixes right from here or click on it to go to the site and just download the mixes for your keeping. I will be posting more mixes in the coming days. I plan on doing an underground HipHop mix of new underground songs I'm feeling, a Freestyle mix, a b.boy mix for all the b.boys and b.girls out there and also a 90's hiphop mix with some tracks I haven't featured in my other mixes.
